Yes!
Nothing like seeing yourself getting owned. For real, post it.
I'll do a voice over play by play.

Really, you out carbined me every time. I hid my lack of carbine skills behind snipes and nades.

And you'll always be a vent whoring dragon master
I'm going to try to spend some time in there the next weekend Raptor is on. Everyone should come play with us. You can point and laugh at how bad I've gotten. Or...how much more bad I have gotten. Rather play unranked games.

RFOM Flashback
In this video we flashback to a 1v1 matchup between the then-reigning Busyard champion Hoos and the #1 contender Six. Hoos would go on to win this clash and successfully defend his title against the likes of Mr Beasty, Rarg, Jueboy, Drachenoob, and other.
Hoos would hold the title until a young carbine machine named King took the strap. All of RFOM wept that day.
After defeat, Hoos would never again return to the 1v1 circuit. Instead, he spent his remaining RFOM days enjoying life as a has-been.

I didnt really ever do the 1 vs 1 stuff simply because I knew I wasn't good enough compared to the skilled players out there. I started playing R1 so late that a dead SAN thread and some homework helped me improve my game and I went from there. I finally ended up being a decent player but definitely not one that could be considered really skilled. Some of the sniping is just disgusting

sniping is my favorite part of RFOM. It takes skill, but once you get it you can make people very upset wiping the floor with them. On the aircraft carrier level I once went something like 31- 2 with like 25 headshots.

Because I'm not generally a sniper, It was hard to go against snipers in R1 because no scoping was damn easy for them. (Recticle on screen when not zoomed). R2, I find it easier to beat them because they can't really no scope that much which exposes their close game weakness.
Ahhh well, Whenever I hear that opening menu music for R1 it brings a smile to my face. Great atmosphere

Ummm...I don't think many people no-scoped in RFoM, Raist. It was virtually impossible to be accurate with it (unlike games like Halo & KZ2). You must have been getting "quick-scoped". Sniping actually took skill in RFoM, compared to R2, IMHO. The added feature of ducking when getting body-sniped to increase the bodyshots needed to kill you really created an incentive to get that headshot on the first go.
Speaking of map love, Busyard is the $hit. I love that map.
Wait. So, who all is actually playing this game again?

I never got vent sniping down. I was never the best sniper to begin with. For me, the vents were more fun with a carbine and nades. I'd ride the mall one with an auger to hit that room.
ahhhh, good times

Vent sniping was fun! (^_-)b I remember the first time someone did it to me successfully. I was like "WTF! You can't DO THAT!!!". It turned out you could & thus something else for me to practice. Heh.

I still play it a couple times a week. The little bit of skill that I had before is nonexistent now unfortunately. Somehow I've managed to score 6-7 clan invites though
