They're really nice Bunny, you'd enjoy 'em. They're more like FoM maps in that they don't have an infinity of those COD-style doorway hiding spots.

Ok. Dummy clans do NOT stop invites. Evil or Very Mad

But more wailing by me last night. What is up with this game? Maybe its the new maps.

I was in a 3 vs 3 Pitstop

The game was only close because me, and a guy on the other team were just owning the others teammates.
We would get into some good duels, but in the end we won as I had 29 kills to his 18.
All 4 of the other players didnt even manage 6.

Where's Rx? Cause this games got a lot of newbs that need a savin'.

King was talking about setting up an [XX] SaN programme over in the [XX] forum but I don't know where it's up to.

Rx hasn't been the same since he had the colostomy done. He rarely gets spotted in public now.

I get them even though I have a [XX] tag. I love the Spanish ones the best. Do you also get random buddy invites too?

No
No one wants to be my friend.
They just want me to join their clan.

A good reason not too I say.

But what is funny about it is, if you look at my clan it says right in the "Announcement" spot.

Clan set up too kill invites

So they haven't even looked at my profile. Its just..."Oh he pwned some people, lets invite him"

Yes, it's obvious that they never look at the profile. After I finish top or second in a custom DM I usually get one or two invites. In KZ2 I get Squad invites halfway through a game. Problem is, I don't know what that means and I wouldn't know how to accept it even if I did know what it meant.

You have to press select to bring up the squad inv thing a ma jig.
Its pretty much like R2, the only difference is you are not put into a squad in match making.
They leave the work of building a squad up to you in Kz2.
Kind of nice, but at the same time a pain.
Since there is no party system, you have to do it every game. Evil or Very Mad

You cant do anything fast enough in Meltdown
You cant run fast enough, you cant spawn fast enough. You cant even drop a berserk fast enough.
Fast paced.... I love it. I just feel bad for my X button while waiting to respawn.
I know a lot of people don't like Meltdown, I can only assume because its not the FoM meltdown.
But its an under rated mode. In the right numbers.

Ive been saying a while now, I know what they were going for with the big battles, but they just suck imo.
20 v 20 max for me.
I'd prefer a 10 v 10

20 v 20 custom TDMs are fun, but for ranked I prefer 10 v 10 or 5 v 5. The 30 v 30 games are just too hectic. I don't know how people get high k/d in those games as they are simply mayhem.

The trick, as I find it, is to find where all of your team is. They'll all be pointed at 'the other team'. Once the other team is located, get behind their location taking a different route than the bulk of your team will be taking during their attack. Once your team has located the enemy, they'll all take up sniper positions, and a sniper battle will begin. That gives you mucho time to move to outflank your opponent.

Where this becomes a challenge is that some members of the enemy team...mostly 'wannabe' snipers, will figure out that there's a better position too, and they'll begin moving in the direction you're moving in. But they'll be coming one at a time, and fairly slowly. And many times, they'll actually be running with their sniper up as their primary weapon. Which is pretty easy to out carbine, assuming medium or less range.

By the time I get to the rear of the enemy force, I've typially killed enough, or almost enough to activate my invisibility berserk, and go stealth 7 or 8 guys with some impunity. If not, the challenge is slightly different.

Start by carbining the guy furthest in the back of the lot that's sniping. Don't hit anyone else, or they'll ALL know you're there. As you begin shooting, someone else will notice you. But since he was sniping too, all he has is a magnum, and assuming you've reloaded right away, you'll drop him too. Now you're invisibility berserk is certainly on, and have a good time. Start by stealthing people that don't have a sniper...they'll always be some boob standing around with a wraith or bellock, or a sharp stick, or a soup spoon, or something equally useless. Bag them first, as they're the greater threat. All of the snipers live in their scope...use that to your advantage.

Practice this technique in customs. I'm averaging b/t a 4 and 8 to 1 k/d right now in customs, and that's applying well lately to ranked as well.

And eat all your veges for a healthy colon. Sheeesh, don't forget that.

I really need to find a clan.

That plays R2

Ive gone over the recruitment pages On MyRes over and over and idk, none of them stand out to me.

The only other option is going back on what I said, and trying to make one of my own sooner than winter.
But then I have to try to recruit, blah blah.

I just need some people to play with. confused

I finally got some time to get my R2 on today. First time in a week.

I'm tellin' you, if you're not in on the custom game madness, you should be. I at least know what it feels like to be an elite player, playing customs. I was pulling off some of the most bizzare, 'oh, I'm gonna die for sure' stuff, and it was all working. I killed this one poor dude so often he sent me a buddy invite, saying 'I hope if I'm your friend you won't kill me that much'. Laughing
I'd be awesome to be as good as I actually play in customs. I had this one series in game today that was the stuff of legend. Would take waaaaay too long to explain. Let's suffice it to say you can get a serious 'in awe' reaction from newb players by working a bullseye bomb/trap well. I had team mates following me around, just watching me killing things. It must be what mush and resistance6151535.335 feel like all the time. Laughing

Rx, I pretty much play nothing but customs. Partly because the damned matching system can't find ANY ranked games of any description, and partly because customs give me the illusion of being a gaming god, like you say. The other day I joined a custom TDM in Aftermath. There were two of us on blue team and one guy on red. The red guy was clearly a new player because he kept running. All I did was follow Six's advice and walk around the inner ring looking at my radar. There would appear this red blip running up behind me and so I'd turn and Carbine him. I got 13 kills with no deaths before someone else joined the game and killed me. The new joiner whored the Wraith and I still haven't figured a good reply to the Wraith yet. Even worse than that the git used Ironheart with it. Pretty soon the other guy on my team left leaving me to play 1 v 2 against newbie and Wraith git. Newbie soon found that Wraith git was getting a lot of kills off me so he picked it too and started following Wraith git around. I switched to Marksman but couldn't hold the two of them off for long enough. I got a few nice last stand hedgehog kills but it was tough. I won the round though.

I then switched to 40-kill DM in Arena and won 3 rounds in a row.

When I'm next on with you PLEASE play customs with me and teach me your pwnage ways. Besides, it'd be good to have an [XX] 'party' going. That's a rare sighting in R2.

I played a 1v1 team deathmatch today. Rolling Eyes
I checked the guy's stats before the round, and could tell based on his overall k/d, that it wasn't going to be a real contest.
I check people's k/d first, and then their carbine accuracy, to see whether I'm going to be able to ninja, or whether I need to rambo. He wasn't a general, but was highish ranking...and had like 8 carbine kills. I was like...le huh? Shocked

Turns out that he's a marksman whore. Never see any of them. Rolling Eyes So the round starts, and I go up like 4 to 1, or 5 to one right away. And I realize that whomever this guy is, I'm a little better. So I'd give him some kills. And fire one shot at him, when he didn't see me, so he'd at least have a shot at me before I dropped him. I gave away some kills at the end, so he didn't feel badly.

"I want you to feel you are doing well. I hate for people to die embarassed." -Fezzik, The Princess Bride

Gotta hand it to whomever he was...he stuck around to the end. By the end, I'm sure he realized I was trying to be good natured with him. I'd put like 70 on him right away, and then fire one shot at a time, until I killed him, or he killed me. He got so 'into it', he'd switch to magnum...either for fun, or b/c he thought I was firing my carbine so slowly, that that's what I was doing to him.

I shot him a message at the end saying good game, and props for sticking it out til the end. Hope he drops me a note back. Would that mean we'd be going steady? Laughing Suspect

Randoms in the night.
Exchanging glances

Tonight sucked more.

A lot of

Not enough players joined the match

And that is in the old maps.

But there are new players. Ive seen lots of privates.
They all tag like its FoM but there are privates.

So I put on my God powers and went into unranked and cleaned up a Subdocks dm.
24 and 9 before time ran out.
Next guy had 8

Invisibitlity + wraith = ownage

Nooby? perhaps, but Im ok with that.

I was in a custom last night. I was finding it quite hard. I was about 18 for 18. Then some dude called Rxforwar stealths me. The round finished and I'm about 24 for 16. Rx is 78 for 13.

He says he's not very good, but that makes me just completely useless. I tried his idea of sneaking around looking to come up behind a group of enemies, but it doesn't work for me. I don't know how he does it. I really don't.
